lugworm is a great natural bait and pumping your own fresh worm is 100% the way to go. after you have pumped your worms be sure to remove any of the damaged lug worm out of your bucket as there juices will certainly kill the other lugworms. You'll find that the bait pump might cut the odd one. if using the lugworm the same day leaving them in the bucket or tray will be fine. If your pumping a few days before you plan to use your lug worms its best to wrap them in news paper and keep in the fridge. check the lugworms daily and re wrap if needed.
